Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss as is her mom who's English. She was born and raised in a council estate south of London. In the ages of fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was awarded. In her time at the school, she performed in numerous stage plays, like King Henry V's princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. Since then Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's debut film was her role in the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. After the film's success, Madekwe played Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as in six episodes Trexx and Flipside. She was Bambi on the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also starred as the title character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment back in the year 2008. She was also as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe had her official US debut on the Drama series The Beautiful Life, which was only broadcast in the US on The CW before being cancelled. In February of 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was announced in May 2013. Following two seasons as the main character she was a guest in the very first episode of season three. From 2014-2016, Madekwe starred in the role of Tituba on the show Salem. Then, in June of 2012 she was married to her long-time love actor Iddo Goldberg. Together, they worked in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with Madekwe in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty and four older brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's athletic brothers played baseball in summer and hockey during winters. Ashley did not walk; instead, she danced. At age two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing shortly after she joined the Baby Ballet. Ashley competed in ballet, jazz and tap in the high divisions. She won the top individualist in all the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
