Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson hails from the American continent and works as an actress, producer and writer, singer/director. Her most recognizable part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's produced, directed and appeared in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest child born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her birthplace was Birmingham, Alabama on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle Benson is her younger artist sister. Benson has a father who is Jewish and her mother a Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue.
